 As a sales representative on the road for many years, a good cup of coffee was often hard to come by. I remember making every effort to make sure my hotel was located near one of the major coffee chains. From time to time I would inquire about purchasing some of their beans to take home. Sometimes they would require me to buy as much as five pounds at a time. In those days it wasn’t fashionable to buy  beans at your local coffee shop. As time went on and coffee beans could be purchased almost anywhere. I was still seeking that perfect cup of coffee. I decided to purchase a small roaster and some green beans. Well, did that open a can of beans! There are so many types of coffees from all over the world, crops vary from year to year and different roasts from cinnamon to dark. Now that quest for the perfect cup of coffee is a passion that we can share here at Beach Beanery.
